We have a queen size fold-away bed in the living room and a separate bedroom with a junior bed for a child who sleeps on their own. Desks and shelving built in to the wall on either side of the foldaway bed offer separated working spaces for two in the living room/master bedroom. The dining room table in the living room is expandable for larger dinners if desired. Chairs can be added and taken away. The kitchen is fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven, stove, microwave, coffee maker, vegetable steamer, pots, pans, dishes and cutlery. The full bathroom has a bathtub/showet and washing machine, plus you have access to the shared free laundry rooms and dryers just across the street. Included in rent: heat, water, hot water, electricity, internet, access to shared laundry room, bike storage, stroller storage room. To the extent that our storage space permits, we can discuss with tenants what furnishings are desired for use or preferred in storage to make room for your own, and the same with kitchen equipment. We are traveling for two academic school years (Sept 2026-May 2028) for work abroad and are looking for reliable, respectful, and communicative tenants. Hopefully a small and kind family with a child who can enjoy the bedroom which is well suited for a young child and or a single parent. Otherwise the kids bedroom furnishings can be discussed/rearranged. Årsta is a great place for those who love nature but also want to be close to the action. It is a conveniently located neighbourhood buffered by a large lakeside nature reserve. We have plenty of groceries and charming neighbourhood restaurants near and around the local square, Årstatorg, as well as close access to bus, trams, commuter rail and subway. Our cozy modern apartment is surrounded by trees, close to the nature reserve with walking and jogging paths, walking distance from the lake with docks for swimming and located just over the water from bustling Södermalm, either by Skanstullsbron or Årstabron. With easy access to transport and shops, the city is at arms reach without the noise. The park just behind our building is ideal for kids, complete with swingsets, a sandbox, a zipline, and a small wading pool for summer swims, a good hill for sledding in the winter, and a small football field that transforms into a skating rink in the winter! Our balcony and living room windows face the sunset, making it a great place to relax at the end of the day.
